When: February 9, 2010
Where: Around Davao
What: San Pedro College Motorcade and Victory Get Together (sige na nga Party)
On the list of nursing schools in the Philippines (with 100 and more examinees), SPC ranked 9! We also have a board exam topnotcher, Rio Michelle Yap Renomeron (5th place). Salamat Lord! Mataas ang passing rate and may topnotcher(s) ang school every board exam, sa susunod po ulit.
10:30 am. At School, Distribution of shirts.
It states, "Life is Simple. Eat. Sleep. Save Lives" (Front) "RN na ako! BATCH '09 " (Back)
11:30 am. At Magsaysay Park, the starting point of the Motorcade.
Supposedly, I chose to ride Ann's Pick up truck, mas masaya kasi kapag hindi enclosed ang sinasakyan. Unfortunately, the sun showed off. So hot lah! So I run to Ray's. ALAS! No space for new passenger. Siksikan na sila parang sardinas! So i rode with Janus' instead. Thank you sa ride! Budoy was at the front seat. Among the passengers, he was the noisiest (hehe). super saya!
12:15 pm. It's showtime! Way back when I was still a student, my beloved clinical instructor (who loves to wear color-matched clothes) allowed us to join the 2007 NLE board passers motorcade. It was fun, but our motorcade is a lot more fun because instead of celebrating for the new nurses, I am celebrating with them. Photo below: (Right) Ray's car with Shem showing off for the camera. (Left) One of the cars from the motorcade, "RNs Inside", nice idea!
This photo below resembles a very famous jingle. If you are from the Philippines, I know you are familiar with president-wanna-be Manny Villar's Ad campaign. "Nakaligo ka na ba sa dagat ng basura? Nagpasko ka na ba sa gitna ng kalsada? Yan ang tanong namin, tunay ka bang isa sa amin?". Si Manny Villar daw ang tunay na mahirap. Contrarily, according to surveys, he is one of the richest citizens in the Philippines. If he is poor, how will i label my self? Aliping sagigilid? Kidding aside, Photo Below: My dear friend Pamela aka Chuchay, she is our class' best actress. I love spending time with her.
1:30 pm. School at last. Recognition. Dr. Nestor Arce rendered a speech. Free food (wide smile). Short Program. Games (our level coordinators played hephephurray against Kaye). And all that Jazz. Lunch Time. Salamat Lord.
